As your deck builder, Bauer Built can replace ageing decks, as well as extending existing decks so you have a good-sized area for entertaining and indoor-outdoor access.

Verandas
Bauer Built can add verandas to homes that don’t already have one, as well as replacing existing verandas.

Pergolas and alfresco extensions
Pergolas can be freestanding, or attached to your house – either with a pitched roof or monopitch roof. Pergolas can be designed and built to suit your home and your style: whether you prefer the traditional timber look, like a wooden gazebo, or a sleek modern metal fabrication. There’s also a choice of roofing options, to provide you with shelter from the elements.

About council consents
If you’re looking to add extra roof area to your home – such as extending an alfresco, or adding a veranda to a house that doesn’t already have one – you’ll need permission from the council. We can take care of that for you, or you’re welcome to do it yourself.
You don’t need permission to extend decking, add a freestanding pergola, or replace an existing veranda or alfresco.
